Recently an on the ground reporter caught up with California Congressman Gil Cisneros of the 39th congressional district and asked for his response to controversial anti-semitic comments that his fellow Democrat representatives Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib have made.

The local CBS station in Minneapolis published:
“The latest controversial tweets from Omar suggest Jews are buying political support. She tweeted about “the Benjamins baby,” a reference to a song about $100 bills, and AIPAC a pro-Israeli lobbying group. The Jewish Committee Relations Council of Minnesota says the references are clear.”
These are the statements journalists were asking Representative Gil Cisneros to comment on and you can tell from the video that Cisneros doesn’t have a great answer and remains silent on the issue:
This is the problem with Gil Cisneros, he bought his way into congress after winning the lottery and then he can’t even stand up to basic things that are wrong like this kind of hateful rhetoric form his liberal caucus members.
“California’s 39th District Rep. Gil Cisneros for Congress was asked for his response to controversial anti-Semitic comments that his fellow Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib For Congress have made.”

The LA Times reported that Cisneros joined both the progressive and moderate caucus of the Democrat party. How confusing is that? If he can’t decide what he stands for and he can’t stand up to the hateful comments of his colleagues why is he in Congress?
